Pan's Labyrinth

Last night I saw Del Toro's Pan's Labyrinth. It is truly a beautiful film. I would urge EVERYONE to see this. It is the type of feature that should be made more often and I hope the box office will support this. The look of it, the atmosphere, everything is stunning. I dont want to talk about the plot too much, but it is basically a fairytale for adults, and in a good way.

Please see this film.

Winter has kicked in. By this I mean it is peeing down with rain constantly. I have been caught out too often already looking like a drowned rat. I guess I should be used to it, but I still forget how morbid winter can be.

Went to Camden on Friday with my buddies, talked absolute shite and stared at the waitresses arse in Bar Vinyl all night. It was truly a magnificent specimen. Plus the girl was french, which didn't harm the "me fancying her" stakes. I of course bucked up my courage, got my testosteroine pumping, psyched myself up, and did nothing. Yes I was a corward. Terrible.

Saturday I went round DF's for dinner with a few of our Brizzy (or Bristol) mates. Everyone except for DF and I was asleep in the longue by 1 pm. West country kids - no stamina at all. It was really nice to just chill and chat over dinner though, good to have a chilled weekend to prepare myslef for the oncoming Xmas onslaught.
