Summer in October

It is October and I am still wearing a t-shirt. It is fantastic. The sun just makes me so much happier. I love the winter becuase it brings snow and gives me the chance to throw myself down a mountain, with out a shadow of a doubt my favourite activity. As a season though you cant mess with Summer. The sun just makes you grin and puts you in a better mood over all. It strange that it gets dark wo early after a nice sunny day, but I think that adds to my enjoyment of it. Of course I do worry about the whole global warming issue (especially as a snowboarder you have to think about how it effects the snow in the mountains, more heat, less snow - selfish I know but thats how i think!) but I feel ashamed to say that I like the effect it has had.

My niece is turning two this weekend. Christ time is flying by so quickly. Nothing like having children in your family to make you evalaute how time is speeding up. Good thing is that it makes you appreciate things more and want to cram as much in as you can.
