Good tings at the mo
Lupe Fiasco was cancelled on Monday which was a bugger. Have spent the last couple of nights just hanging out. Thought I would list ten things I am enjoying and happy about at the mo.
1. Indian Summer. It is the end of September and still we are getting sunshine. When the sun shines even walking to work I have a spring in my step. Plus girls are still wearing small tops. Superb.
2. The Mighty Arsenal. After a small blip at the beginning our season seems to be turning around.
3. New Music. I am particularly enjoying Lupe Fiasco, Scott Mathews & Thom Yorke's new albums
4. US TV. All the old favs are back (House, CSI, My Name Is Earl etc) and some new ones to check out (Heroes, Vanished, Jericho)
5. New Friends. Have made a few new friends over the last few weeks. Meeting new people is fucking great.
6. Strengthening Relationships. In a short space of time my friendships with two peeps have developed and strengthened a lot this Summer and they have become two fo my best friends (AB and SB, this means you). One of them described me a "brother from another mother" which made me grin.
7. Organising the Winter. I have been organising and booking our Snowboarding holidays. Even though it is a few months away I am still super excited. Who would have thought plummeting down a mountain on a plank of wood could be so much fun.
8. Girls as friends. I always used to have a few very close female friends. Whilst in my last relationship a lot of theses friendships have fallen by the wayside. I have met and become good friends with a lot of new girls. It is always nice to have some feminine influence on your life.
9. Comics. I have had a rejuvenated love for comics and have started to seriously buy them again due to the excited conversations I have had with my mate "The Zombie". Walking Dead, which everyone should read, has helped this.
10. My Spazz. Much as I used to berate and hate myspace, I know fully love it. If you use it properly (talking to mates and making them laugh) rather than adding a thousand friends to you list just to make you feel popular, it is top notch. Especially as not all my mates are always in the country.
