The winter cometh

It seems that winter is slowly bleeding in. More rain, chilly in the mornings and the clocks go back this weekend. We have had a good run of weather so I cant complain. Just means I am counting down the days until I see snow.

I went to my friends weddings on Friday. Was a top night. especially watching 20 odd suited and booted lads dance in a mosh pit. Surreal but funny. Everyone was on top form and geeking of. A lot of scary dancing. Weddings can either be sombre formal events or just plain silline4ss. I am happy to say the night was pure silliness. I havent known the couple that long, so I was very touched they invited me. Its great to get so many freinds together in one room and have fun.

The weekend was centred around my nutty little niece who turned 2 on Monday. She is becoming more nad more like a little person and the family expressions are start to bleed through. Every time I see here she has shot up and is doing something new. She keeps on trying to talk, but hasnt quite got the hang of it. She mumbles away and you just have to nod and say yes a lot. Quite similar to the conversations I have with my mates when the are pissed as farts. So nothing to unfamiliar for me.

I have my maybe date tonight (is it a date, are we friends?) which should be fun either way.
