oops...
The snow has fallen and everything has turned to chaos. Nothing changes. Even with all of the warning, we still cant prepare for a few droplets of frozen water!
I have made what can be described as a school boy error. I was email my ex L, we were doing the usual catch up thing. Asking about each others families, seeing what we had been up to, the usual small talk. She suggested that we meet up for a drink. As I am going snowboarding again on the 17th, I am only free next week. So, I have a look at my diary. I tell her the only two days I am free next week are Monday or Wednesday, the rest I am all booked up. L comes back saying Wednesday is good for her. I then chuck it in my diary so I remember. I open it up click on Wednesday and put it in. Then I notice the date. Wednesday is the 14th. Wednesday is the 14th February. The cogs turn, the wheels click into place and it hits me.
Wednesday is the 14 February!
Wednesday is Valentines Day.
Now bearing in my mind the last three times I have met with L she has cried on each occasion. I am not that bothered about meeting on Valentines Day (although it will be a bit weird), but I did ask her if she was OK about it. She was. The thing I am worried about is this. We go out, she cries. To all spectators it looks like I am making my girlfriend cry on Valentines Day. I look like the biggest git in the world. I then explain she isn't my girlfriend. I then get asked where my girlfriend is and why I am out with another girl on Valentines day. And so on and so on. Yes Wednesday could turn into one of those stupid romcoms where everyone misunderstands each other to hilarious consequences.
