The weekend ends here
Well the weekend had its good points and its bad points. Friday I went to a fancy dress party in Earls Court with A and H. Usual fancy dress do - no one dressed up but a selected few. We first thought that the party was at a lush flat (first thought - Daddy's money), then we realised it was in a very lush HOUSE. Every one was very posh but really nice. I did meet a nice guy called Bobby Boyd who is a beat maker for Hip Hop groups and does his own thing. At first he was telling me that it wouldn't be stuff that I have heard of, not 50 cent and all that. I mentioned Jay Dilla and his eyes light up. There is nothing like hip hop heads coming together. He was a top bloke and we waxed lyrical about music for ages. It was one of those parties that you initially think is going to be shite, then all of a sudden it is 4am in the morning and you realise you have had a good time. We all got chucked out at 4ish by the girls parents and it made me feel like I was 15 all over again!

Saturday. Well what can I say. Portugal kicked our arses and I shouldn't be surprised. As soon as we heard it was 4-5-1 by both teams we knew it would be a boring match. Rooney acts silly, Ronaldo insures he can never come back to England and Man U, and England go out of the world cup. As soon as the last penalty went in the pub went silent and the all you could hear was the continuous smashing of glasses. We decided to make a move then. The pub (the one in Finchley) was awesome until that point. Shame the event didn't live up to the crowd.

I then went to an album launch in the Great Eastern Hotel. The launch was for a guy called Louis Austin, who is an old school crooner who sings over electro beats! Some of it fell on its face harder than a pushed over clock, but some of it was really good. I got man handled by a 40 year old and then chatted up by a lesbian. Not exactly what I wanted! Went up stairs to one of the rooms for an after party. An hour later, surrounded by people taking coke and talking shite, I decided to leave!
Sunday was spent with my sis and niece. Tried to go to the pool at my gym only to find out the kids pool was closed. That makes sense, the hottest weather we have had all year, when everyone wants to swim, and will close it. Common sense anyone??? We went down the park instead and watched the niece run around like a nutter. My man DF joined us and we had a nice chilled day.
So ups and downs all the way.
