Summer Daze

What is it about summer? There is something that naturally makes me more cheerful and walk with a little bounce in my step. Girls wear a lot less (always a good thing) and I get to break out those trainers I have been saving for months because they don't look good in the winter. Everyone seems to have that happy glow which makes everyone so much more attractive. Being blonde, I look better in the summer, especially with my angelic face (!)

Bizarrely I thought about this today as I wandered the streets during my lunch time. My mission was to pick up a new toilet seat. I know, you secretly crave to have as much excitement as me!

So many things to look forward to: longer days, standing outside pubs, hanging in parks while dodging frisbies being thrown by Australians. I have always thought that I should start up a company that lets you hire frisbies and dogs, just so that you can take them to the park and do the whole KFC advert thing. Perhaps I could hire out an MP3 player that only plays Marlena Shaw as well?

Tonight I am either hanging out with my two best friends DC and DF or staying in and doing the washing, depending on how late we all finish work. I think I might have to stop mucking about and get a move on... there are only so many dirty clothes I can wash before I get too excited and have to lie down.
